This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee a designated sales territory in Northern Colorado, focusing on the growth of CooperVision’s contact lens offerings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, practice managers, and office personnel.
• Acquire new accounts and enhance sales across all distribution channels.
• Achieve and surpass the sales quotas for the assigned territory.
• Maintain a structured call cycle with around 5–7 scheduled appointments each workday.
• Address customer inquiries via phone and email within a 24-hour timeframe.
• Employ consultative selling techniques to identify customer needs, evaluate accounts, and propose suitable products.
• Develop and execute call cycle strategies while preparing account business plans in collaboration with the Regional Director.
• Generate new business opportunities within the designated geographic area.
• Keep up-to-date technical knowledge of CooperVision products as well as competitor offerings.
• Track industry trends and Health Product Research data.
• Inform customers about CooperVision products and promote value-added products and services.
• Create and oversee customer marketing initiatives and promotions to ensure a positive return on investment.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and CRM reports to evaluate product performance, account sales, and territory expansion.
• Attend state and regional optical exhibitions when requested.
• Timely submission of call, expense, ROI, and other administrative reports.
• Manage diagnostic contact lens sets at client locations.
• Travel within the territory roughly 80% of the time, with 10–15% travel outside the territory for conferences, training, and regional meetings.
• Must reside in the designated Northern Colorado territory or in close proximity.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to deliver presentations to varying sizes of customer groups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with CRM platforms, including Salesforce, Tableau, and Showpad.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while installing, removing, and transporting diagnostic contact lens sets.
• A minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience in any sector.
• Proven track record of surpassing daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience directly related to the field (high school diploma plus 8 years of similar experience).
• Successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of previous employment, criminal history, educational credentials, and driving records.
• Valid driver’s license, minimum required insurance coverage, and a satisfactory driving record.
