Field Representative – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Engage in both in-person and remote sales to establish relationships with new and existing clients.

• Sell products directly or indirectly using various sales channels.

• Evaluate customer requirements and propose suitable products, services, and solutions.

• Create and present sales bids, presentations, and proposals effectively.

• Involve yourself in product demonstrations.

• Identify and reach out to potential customers.

• Foster relationships that will lead to future sales and repeat business.

• Promote and drive demand for a range of products.

• Organize daily tasks, including customer visits, grand opening events, collaborative opportunities, promotions, and Groundswell strategies.

• Achieve key sales targets within the designated geographical area.

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing updates to senior management.

• Address basic issues and challenges under direct supervision while escalating more complex matters.

• Travel across Tennessee to effectively cover the assigned territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including some weekends and overnight stays.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing.

• At least two years of relevant work experience (preferred).

• Familiarity or experience in the animal nutrition retail sector (preferred).

• Knowledge or experience with Salesforce (preferred).

• Understanding of equine, livestock, pet, or poultry nutrition (preferred).

• Must be a resident of Tennessee.

• Experience or capability in face-to-face and remote selling.

• Fundamental knowledge of products, their features, and the market landscape.
