Field Representative – Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Engage in both in-person and remote sales efforts targeting new and existing clients.

• Evaluate customer requirements and recommend suitable products, services, and solutions.

• Provide support across the state of Illinois and its neighboring regions.

• Travel within the assigned territory as necessary.

• Assist in the creation and delivery of sales proposals, presentations, and bids.

• Take part in product demonstrations.

• Identify and reach out to potential customers.

• Foster relationships to drive future sales and repeat business.

• Promote and sell a range of products to stimulate demand.

• Organize daily tasks, including customer visits, grand opening events, joint opportunities, promotions, and Groundswell strategies.

• Execute key sales initiatives within the designated geography.

• Monitor market trends and competition, providing insights to senior team members.

• Address basic issues and challenges under direct supervision.

• Refer complex problems to the appropriate personnel.

• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including some weekends and overnight stays.

• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

• At least two years of related professional experience.

• Familiarity or experience in the animal nutrition retail sector.

• Proficiency or experience with Salesforce.

• Knowledge in equine, livestock, pet, or poultry nutrition.

• Must be a resident of the state of Illinois.
