Field Reimbursement Manager – Rare Blood Disorders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert on Sanofi’s patient support initiatives for rare blood disorders and Hemophilia, including payer claim processes, billing and coding education, resolution of access issues, financial assistance, and alternative funding options.

• Provide information and education to assist providers and Hemophilia Treatment Center offices in securing appropriate access to Sanofi products.

• Educate healthcare providers about patient affordability offerings and Sanofi's patient support programs.

• Create effective business plans that align with corporate branding and marketing strategies, customized to the specific geography and customer context.

• Coordinate business operations and drive results within the designated geographic area.

• Implement Sanofi strategies and tactics within the assigned territory.

• Keep abreast of local and national payer landscapes, Specialty Pharmacy, and Utilization Management criteria.

• Monitor communications related to coverage, coding, and reimbursement from commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid sources.

• Collaborate with internal and external colleagues, stakeholders, and program vendors.

• Educate office staff on billing information, approved codes, medical and pharmacy benefits, and patient support offerings.

• Build relationships with targeted healthcare provider offices and address payer coverage barriers while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Complete training and demonstrate adequate clinical knowledge of products.

• Manage and comply with company policies and Legal and Regulatory guidelines.

• Uphold and embody Sanofi’s core values.

• Travel approximately 50%-60%, depending on the geographic area.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS Degree required, ideally in life sciences or business.

• Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related healthcare sector.

• At least 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech specialty pharmacy reimbursement or access in a specialty pharmacy environment with proven exceptional results.

• Proven success in cross-functional teamwork and working within a matrix environment.

• Experience in coordinating patient and provider support services, such as specialty pharmacy, reimbursement services, nursing services, and specialty distributor services.

• Ability to travel to meetings, training sessions, and programs as necessary; additional travel within the assigned geography is required.

• Must reside within the specified territory: Florida.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Must ensure compliance with all applicable Sanofi compliance policies, procedures, and legal regulations.

• Hemophilia experience is preferred.

• Experience in launching Hemophilia products or complex specialty products is preferred.

• Field Reimbursement Manager experience is highly preferred.

• Specialty pharmacy reimbursement experience is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding and experience in supporting self-infused products is preferred.

• Significant experience and understanding of the payer landscape and its impact on patient access to self-infused products in the home setting.

• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

• Must complete mandatory fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record, including a satisfactory history of accidents and incidents.

• U.S.-based individuals must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as part of their job responsibilities.
