This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +2 more states.
• Act as the main field-based leader for education, assistance, and problem resolution concerning patient access to J&J Oncology therapies.
• Provide education to healthcare providers and office personnel on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding mandates.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care teams, and internal J&J departments.
• Tackle critical issues related to patient access and affordability.
• Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with customers in designated Oncology accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Keep abreast of market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Develop an understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Offer subject-matter expertise on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and commercial payer plans.
• Conduct business in accordance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
• Spend up to 50% of time on-site with healthcare providers.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration).
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a provider office environment.
• Proven expertise with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, coding, and billing.
• Background in reimbursement or relevant managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenging access situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Permanent residence in the specified territory within reasonable distance to a major airport.
• Preferred experience in Oncology disease states.
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred.
• Commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies such as AI preferred.
