This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Act as the primary field-based point of contact for education, support, and issue resolution for healthcare providers and their office staff concerning patient access to J&J Oncology therapies.
β’ Allocate at least 50% of your time on-site with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to assess educational needs and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.
β’ Provide education to HCPs regarding reimbursement processes, claims submission, procedures, and payer coding requirements for both core and newly launched products.
β’ Work in partnership with sales representatives and key account managers as the reimbursement authority for the local team.
β’ Tackle critical patient access and affordability concerns with a sense of urgency.
β’ Collaborate with managed care colleagues to gain insights into current policies and anticipate potential future changes.
β’ Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving in accordance with FRM Rules of Engagement.
β’ Establish trust-based relationships with clients across assigned Oncology accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
β’ Keep abreast of national, regional, local, and account market dynamics, including coverage and coding requirements.
β’ Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels to better support practices and patients.
β’ Collaborate with internal J&J departments such as marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, and other payer types.
β’ Conduct business in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards and complete all necessary training.
β’ Monitor shifts in product coverage, access knowledge, market conditions, and stakeholder practices.
β’ Adjust resources and messaging to respond to the evolving healthcare ecosystem and the needs of HCPs.
β’ Bachelor's degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within the provider office environment, fostering strong customer relationships.
β’ Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, coding, and billing.
β’ Experience in reimbursement or managed care, including aspects like revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
β’ Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence in a matrix organization.
β’ Problem-solving skills to navigate challenging access scenarios and identify timely, effective solutions.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with strong follow-through.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Willingness to maintain up to 50% travel, including occasional overnight stays.
β’ Permanent residence within the designated territory.
β’ Preferred experience in the oncology disease state.
β’ Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding preferred.
β’ Strong market access and business acumen preferred.
β’ Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement preferred.
β’ Technical knowledge of payer policies, including coding, coverage, and payment preferred.
β’ Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred.
β’ Commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, preferred.
β’ Role involves travel of up to 75% of the time.
