This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
β’ Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support initiatives, access, and reimbursement assistance tools and services.
β’ Inform providers about product-specific acquisition and access options, which include specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
β’ Guide providers on resources that tackle access-related challenges.
β’ Offer local insights on national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding updates, and the correct processes for claims submission.
β’ Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management strategies.
β’ Report payer trends for approved products to the Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
β’ Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
β’ Stay informed about managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
β’ Travel approximately 50% of the time.
β’ Operate in a field-based capacity while residing within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
β’ Preference for candidates with experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
β’ Strong preference for individuals with experience in physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
β’ Proven knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policies, affordability support, and operations of patient support programs.
β’ In-depth understanding of coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across various care settings.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and the associated reimbursement dynamics.
β’ Must meet all relevant healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
β’ Must be in good standing and/or eligible to acquire the necessary HCIR credentials.
β’ Exceptional territory and account management abilities.
β’ Bachelor's degree required.
β’ Valid driver's license necessary.
β’ Preferred candidates should have 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
β’ Extensive background in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related situations for specialty medications is preferred.
β’ A strong history of leadership within the current role is preferred.
