This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
β’ Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support programs, as well as access and reimbursement support tools and services.
β’ Inform providers about product-specific acquisition and access options, encompassing specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
β’ Share information on available resources to tackle access challenges.
β’ Offer local expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding adjustments, and claims submission procedures.
β’ Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management initiatives.
β’ Report on payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
β’ Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
β’ Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
β’ Function as a field-based representative within the assigned territory.
β’ Experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models is strongly preferred.
β’ Proven understanding of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policies, affordability support, and patient support program operations.
β’ Ability to effectively communicate technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across all care settings.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, along with associated reimbursement dynamics.
β’ Must meet applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and be in good standing, or be eligible to obtain credentials.
β’ Strong territory and account management skills are essential.
β’ A Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A valid driver's license is necessary.
β’ Preferably 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
β’ Extensive experience in educating others on payer processes, coverage requirements, and access issues related to specialty medicines is preferred.
β’ A solid track record of leadership in the current role is preferred.
β’ Must reside within a reasonable distance from the primary city or one of the specified cities.
β’ Willingness to travel 50% of the time is required.
