This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support programs, access, and reimbursement support tools and services.
• Inform about product-specific acquisition and access alternatives, including specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging assistance.
• Share information about resources available to resolve access challenges.
• Offer local expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding updates, and proper claims submission procedures.
• Collaborate with various internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management.
• Report on payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the region.
• Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
• Strong preference for experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
• Preferred experience with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
• Knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and patient support program operations.
• Capability to convey technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across all healthcare settings.
• In-depth understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and their associated reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing standards and maintain good standing, or be eligible for the necessary credentials.
• Exceptional territory and account management abilities.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Preferably 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
• Extensive experience in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access issues related to specialty medications is preferred.
• Strong record of leadership within the current position is desirable.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time is required.
