This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Inform healthcare professionals about patient support programs, access and reimbursement tools, and available services.
• Provide education to providers regarding product-specific acquisition and access strategies, including specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging assistance.
• Share information on resources designed to tackle access challenges.
• Offer localized expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer-related issues, coding updates, and claims submission procedures.
• Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders for effective key account management.
• Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
• Stay informed about managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
• Travel within the assigned territory approximately 75% of the time.
• Strongly preferred experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
• Preferred background in physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
• Knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and operations of patient support programs.
• Proficient in communicating technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across various care settings.
• Understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D along with associated reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing standards.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to secure the required credentials.
• Must fulfill relevant background check, drug screening, immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and state/city licensing requirements.
• Exceptional skills in territory and account management.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Preferred experience of 5 or more years in access and reimbursement or account management.
• Experience in educating others on payer processes, coverage prerequisites, and access scenarios for specialty medicines is preferred.
• Strong record of leadership within the current role is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time is essential.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance from the primary city or in an approved listed city.
