This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Provide education to healthcare providers regarding patient support programs, as well as access and reimbursement support tools and services.
β’ Instruct providers on specific product acquisition and access options, which include specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging assistance.
β’ Inform providers about resources that address access-related challenges.
β’ Offer localized expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer-related issues, coding updates, and proper claims submission processes.
β’ Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management initiatives.
β’ Report payer trends for approved products to the Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
β’ Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
β’ Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
β’ Travel approximately 50% of the time.
β’ Experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology is highly desirable.
β’ Familiarity with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models is preferred.
β’ Proven understanding of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and operations of patient support programs.
β’ Capability to convey technical coding and billing requirements across national and regional levels in various care settings.
β’ Extensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D along with the associated reimbursement dynamics.
β’ Must meet all relevant HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain these credentials.
β’ Strong skills in territory and account management.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A valid driver's license is necessary.
β’ Preferably 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
β’ Significant experience in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related issues for specialty medicines is preferred.
β’ A strong record of leadership in the current role is preferred.
β’ Must reside within a reasonable distance from the primary city and within the specified candidate cities.
