This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Inform healthcare professionals about patient support programs and tools for access and reimbursement assistance.
• Educate providers regarding product-specific acquisition and access options, which include specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
• Provide information on available resources to tackle access challenges.
• Offer local expertise on national and regional payer policies, coding modifications, claims submission processes, and payer issues.
• Work collaboratively with internal Oncology stakeholders on managing key accounts.
• Report on payer trends for approved products to the Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
• Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
• Travel is required approximately 50% of the time.
• Preferred experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
• Strongly preferred background in physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
• Proven knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement processes, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policies, affordability support, and patient support program operations.
• Strong grasp of technical coding and billing requirements, with the ability to communicate them effectively at both national and regional levels across various care settings.
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, along with related reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet all relevant healthcare industry representative credentialing standards.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to acquire the necessary credentials.
• Excellent skills in territory and account management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Preferred experience of 5 or more years in access and reimbursement or account management.
• Extensive experience in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related scenarios for specialty medicines is preferred.
• A strong history of leadership in the current role is preferred.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance from the primary city/assigned territory.
