
Field Reimbursement Manager, Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support programs, access, and reimbursement tools and services.
• Inform about product-specific acquisition and access options, including specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
• Offer information on resources that address access issues.
• Share local expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding updates, and claims submission processes.
• Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management activities.
• Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant providers within the assigned territory.
• Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
• Conduct field-based work within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time.
• Strong preference for candidates with oncology and/or hematology-oncology experience.
• Preferred experience with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
• Knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and operations of patient support programs.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across all care settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D along with associated reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain required credentials.
• Excellent skills in territory and account management.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid driver's license is necessary.
• Preferred 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
• Extensive experience in educating others on payer processes and access issues related to specialty medicines is preferred.
• A strong track record of leadership in the current role is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time is required.
