This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Provide education to healthcare providers regarding patient support programs, as well as access and reimbursement support tools and services.
• Inform providers about product-specific acquisition and access alternatives, which include specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
• Educate providers on resources that address access challenges.
• Offer local expertise on national and regional payer policies, changes in coding, and the correct claims submission processes.
• Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management strategies.
• Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
• Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
• Conduct field-based work within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
• Preferred background in physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
• Comprehensive understanding of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and operations of patient support programs.
• Ability to articulate technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across all care settings.
• Familiarity with Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, along with their associated reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.
• Exceptional territory and account management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Preference for candidates with five or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
• Experience in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related situations for specialty medicines is preferred.
• A strong record of leadership within the current role is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
