This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
β’ Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support programs, access, and reimbursement tools and services.
β’ Inform providers about product-specific acquisition and access options, including specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
β’ Deliver guidance on resources that address access issues for providers.
β’ Offer local expertise concerning national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding modifications, and claims submission processes.
β’ Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management initiatives.
β’ Report trends related to payers for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
β’ Develop and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
β’ Stay informed about managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
β’ Operate in a field-based capacity within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
β’ Preferably have experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
β’ Experience with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and operations of patient support programs.
β’ Capability to articulate technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across various care settings.
β’ Familiarity with Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and their associated reimbursement dynamics.
β’ Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to acquire necessary credentials.
β’ Exceptional skills in territory and account management.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required.
β’ A valid driver's license is mandatory.
β’ Preferably, 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
β’ Experience in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related issues for specialty medicines is preferred.
β’ A strong leadership track record is preferred.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time.
