This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support programs, access, and reimbursement support tools and services.
• Inform about product-specific acquisition and access options, which include specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
• Offer insights into resources available for addressing access challenges.
• Deliver local expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer-related issues, coding updates, and proper claims submission processes.
• Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on key account management strategies.
• Report on payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
• Stay informed about developments in managed care, reimbursement, and policy activities.
• Operate in a field-based role within a reasonable commuting distance from the primary city.
• Strongly preferred experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
• Previous experience with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policies, affordability support, and patient support program operations.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across various care settings.
• Knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and the associated reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• Exceptional territory and account management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Preferably, 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
• Extensive experience in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related issues for specialty medicines is preferred.
• A strong track record of leadership in the current role is advantageous.
• Willingness and capacity to travel 50% of the time is required.
