This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
β’ Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support programs, as well as access and reimbursement support tools and services.
β’ Inform about product-specific acquisition and access options, which include specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
β’ Offer insights on resources available to resolve access issues.
β’ Deliver local expertise on national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding updates, and claims submission procedures.
β’ Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Oncology on key account management initiatives.
β’ Report payer trends for approved products to the Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
β’ Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
β’ Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
β’ Operate in a field-based position within a reasonable distance of the primary city.
β’ Strongly preferred candidates will have experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
β’ Preference will be given to those with experience in physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
β’ A solid understanding of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and operations of patient support programs is essential.
β’ Ability to effectively communicate technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across various care settings.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D along with associated reimbursement dynamics is required.
β’ Must meet the applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
β’ Exceptional skills in territory and account management are necessary.
β’ A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
β’ A valid driver's license is required.
β’ Preferred candidates will have 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
β’ Extensive experience in educating others about payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related situations for specialty medicines is favored.
β’ A strong record of leadership within the current role is preferred.
β’ Willingness to travel 50% of the time is necessary.
