This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
β’ Provide education to healthcare providers regarding patient support programs, as well as access and reimbursement support tools and services.
β’ Inform providers about product-specific acquisition and access options, which include specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging support.
β’ Guide providers on resources available to tackle access challenges.
β’ Offer local expertise concerning national and regional payer policies, payer challenges, coding changes, and claims submission processes.
β’ Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders on essential account management.
β’ Report emerging payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and MHC account management teams.
β’ Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the designated territory.
β’ Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
β’ Be prepared to travel approximately 50% of the time.
β’ Preference for candidates with experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
β’ Strongly preferred experience with physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models.
β’ Proven understanding of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and patient support program operations.
β’ Solid understanding of coding and billing requirements at national and regional levels across all care settings.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D, along with associated reimbursement dynamics.
β’ Must meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
β’ Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain the required HCIR credentials.
β’ Excellent skills in territory and account management.
β’ Bachelor's degree is required.
β’ Possession of a valid driver's license.
β’ Preference for candidates with 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
β’ Extensive experience in educating others on payer processes, coverage requirements, and access-related scenarios for specialty medicines is preferred.
β’ A strong track record of leadership within the current role is preferred.
