This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals regarding patient support programs, access, and reimbursement assistance tools and services.
• Inform providers about product-specific acquisition and access alternatives, including specialty pharmacy networks, specialty distribution, and white-bagging assistance.
• Offer guidance on resources available to tackle access challenges.
• Deliver local expertise concerning national and regional payer policies, payer issues, coding modifications, and claims submission procedures.
• Collaborate with internal Oncology stakeholders for effective key account management.
• Report payer trends for approved products to Patient Services and the MHC account management teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with relevant providers within the assigned territory.
• Stay updated on managed care, reimbursement, and policy developments.
• Operate in a field-based capacity with approximately 50% travel.
• Preferred experience in oncology and/or hematology-oncology.
• Background in physician-administered therapies, buy-and-bill products, medical benefit reimbursement, specialty distribution/pharmacy, or complex access models is favored.
• Knowledge of coverage, coding, billing, reimbursement, benefit verification, prior authorization, appeals, claims submission, payer policy, affordability support, and patient support program operations.
• Ability to convey technical coding and billing requirements at both national and regional levels across various care settings.
• Familiarity with Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D and the associated reimbursement dynamics.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain the necessary credentials.
• Exceptional skills in territory and account management.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Preferably 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management.
