This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary field leader for education, support, and resolution of issues concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time working directly with healthcare providers and their office teams.
• Evaluate educational requirements and promote collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Inform healthcare providers about reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding standards.
• Work alongside sales representatives and key account managers as the local expert in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.
• Facilitate discussions on compliant access and fulfillment.
• Utilize data and account management skills to overcome access obstacles.
• Tackle significant patient access and affordability challenges.
• Collaborate with managed care colleagues on current and upcoming policies.
• Provide field-based reimbursement and access assistance, education, and problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with clients within assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business strategies.
• Stay informed about market trends, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Partner with internal J&J departments including marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.
• Act as the subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer types and plans.
• Conduct business activities in accordance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards, along with necessary training.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment.
• Proficient knowledge of pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Experience in reimbursement or managed care environments.
• Skill in building relationships, collaborating, and influencing across a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with efficient follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residence within the specified territory.
• Preferred experience in neuroscience disease states.
• Preferred advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding.
• Preferred understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that impact reimbursement.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Eagerness to learn about emerging technologies such as AI.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
