This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Act as the main field-based representative for education, support, and resolution of issues concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers and their office personnel.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, operational protocols, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care associates, and internal J&J departments.
• Function as the expert in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement for the local team.
• Lead compliant discussions regarding access and fulfillment.
• Utilize data and account management skills to overcome access challenges.
• Tackle critical issues related to patient access and affordability.
• Perform field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customers within assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance practice and patient support through knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer types.
• Complete business activities and necessary training in compliance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment.
• Proficiency with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeal processes.
• Experience in reimbursement or managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeal processes.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence in a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with efficient follow-through.
• Familiarity with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residency in the specified territory.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting reimbursement is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Willingness to explore emerging technologies, including AI.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
