This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.
• Act as the primary field-based leader for education, support, and problem-solving concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of time engaging directly with healthcare providers and their staff.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, policies, and payer coding standards.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care teams, and internal J&J departments.
• Facilitate compliant discussions regarding access and fulfillment.
• Utilize data and account management expertise to tackle access challenges.
• Address significant patient access and affordability concerns.
• Deliver field-based reimbursement and access assistance, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with clients within designated accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and business planning for accounts.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, and other payer categories.
• Complete necessary training and conduct business in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a provider office environment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Experience in reimbursement or managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Familiarity with patient support HUB services.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with efficient follow-up.
• Valid US driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residence within the specified territory.
• Advanced business degree (MBA) or public health degree (MPH) is preferred.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting reimbursement is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Ability to learn and implement emerging technologies such as AI is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
