This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Act as the primary field-based leader for education, support, and issue resolution with healthcare providers and office personnel regarding patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
β’ Allocate up to 50% of time on-site with healthcare providers and their staff, identifying educational needs and promoting collaboration among stakeholders.
β’ Inform healthcare providers about reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
β’ Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and other members of the field support team.
β’ Function as the local team's expert on access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.
β’ Facilitate compliant discussions on access and fulfillment.
β’ Employ data and account management skills to proactively tackle access barriers.
β’ Address urgent patient access and affordability challenges with accountability.
β’ Provide field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving in accordance with FRM Rules of Engagement.
β’ Develop trust-based relationships with customers in assigned accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
β’ Stay informed about national, regional, local, and account market dynamics, including coverage and coding requirements.
β’ Enhance understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels to better support practices and patients.
β’ Collaborate with internal J&J departments such as marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, and other payer types.
β’ Conduct business ethically, adhering to legal and compliance standards while completing necessary training.
β’ Bachelor's degree (ideally in healthcare or business/public administration).
β’ At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a provider office setting, fostering strong customer relationships.
β’ Proven expertise in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
β’ Background in reimbursement or managed care (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes).
β’ Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios and provide timely solutions.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective follow-through.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Permanent residence in the designated territory.
β’ Extensive knowledge of medication access channels, including pharmacy and medical benefits, buy & bill, and/or assignment of benefit (AOB).
β’ Ability to analyze highly complex quantitative and qualitative data.
β’ Capability to stay updated on and anticipate changes in product coverage, access knowledge, market conditions, and stakeholder practices.
β’ Adaptability to the evolving healthcare ecosystem.
β’ Preferably, experience in neuroscience disease states.
β’ Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
β’ Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that affect pharmaceutical and biotechnology product reimbursement is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
β’ Commitment to learning about emerging technologies such as AI.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
