This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Act as the main on-site lead for education, support, and issue resolution regarding patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your working hours interacting directly with healthcare providers and their personnel.
• Provide education to healthcare providers on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, operational procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Facilitate compliant discussions related to access and fulfillment with field support teams.
• Employ data and account management expertise to proactively tackle access challenges.
• Address significant patient access and affordability concerns.
• Offer field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with clients in assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Gain knowledge about hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Work in conjunction with internal J&J departments including marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.
• Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, and various other payer types.
• Carry out business activities in line with ethical, legal, and compliance standards, as well as required training.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment.
• Proficiency with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Background in reimbursement or related managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Extensive understanding of medication access channels, encompassing pharmacy and medical benefits.
• Capability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data.
• Skill in building relationships, collaborating, and influencing across a matrix organization.
• Problem-solving aptitude to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residency within the specified territory.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives affecting pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement is preferred.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Openness to learning emerging technologies such as AI.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
