This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Provide education to healthcare providers and office personnel regarding reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Act as the primary field-based leader for education, assistance, and resolution of issues related to patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Collaborate effectively with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and various internal departments.
• Serve as the local expert on access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.
• Facilitate discussions on compliant access and fulfillment strategies.
• Leverage data and account management skills to overcome access barriers.
• Address significant patient access and affordability challenges.
• Deliver field-based support in reimbursement and access, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Build relationships based on trust with customers in designated accounts.
• Manage logistics, routing, and account business planning within the territory.
• Stay informed on market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Provide insights on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, and other payer types.
• Conduct business in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards while completing required training.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Relevant experience in reimbursement or managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Strong ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Proven problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with efficient follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residence within the specified territory.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that impact reimbursement is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Willingness to learn about emerging technologies such as AI.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
