This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.
β’ Act as the primary field lead for education, support, and issue resolution related to patient access for J&J Neuroscience therapies.
β’ Dedicate up to 50% of time working on-site with healthcare providers and their teams.
β’ Provide education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
β’ Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
β’ Facilitate compliant discussions regarding access and fulfillment.
β’ Utilize data and account management skills to overcome access barriers.
β’ Address significant patient access and affordability challenges.
β’ Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
β’ Establish trust-based relationships within assigned accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
β’ Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
β’ Gain knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
β’ Function as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer types.
β’ Conduct business activities in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
β’ Bachelorβs degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
β’ At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office setting.
β’ Knowledge of pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
β’ Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care roles.
β’ Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills to tackle challenging access scenarios.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with effective follow-through.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ Valid US driver's license and driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Permanent residence within the specified territory.
β’ Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
β’ Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
β’ Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting reimbursement is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
β’ Willingness to learn about emerging technologies, such as AI.
β’ Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
