This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
β’ Act as the primary field-based leader for education, support, and resolution of issues related to patient access for J&J Neuroscience therapies.
β’ Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers and their office personnel.
β’ Provide education to healthcare professionals on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, operational processes, and payer coding requirements.
β’ Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and various internal J&J departments.
β’ Lead discussions on compliant access and fulfillment.
β’ Proactively tackle access hurdles utilizing data analysis and account management skills.
β’ Address critical issues regarding patient access and affordability.
β’ Deliver field-based support for reimbursement and access, along with educational resources and innovative problem-solving.
β’ Cultivate relationships with customers within assigned accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and strategic account business planning.
β’ Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage options, and coding prerequisites.
β’ Enhance practice and patient support through knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer types.
β’ Conduct business activities in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards, along with required training.
β’ Bachelor's degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
β’ At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment.
β’ Proficient in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
β’ Background in reimbursement or relevant managed care.
β’ Capacity to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with effective follow-through.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ Valid US driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Permanent residency in the designated territory.
β’ Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
β’ An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
β’ Openness to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
