This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.
• Act as the main field-based leader for educating, assisting, and resolving issues with healthcare providers and their staff concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their staff to assess educational needs and promote collaboration among stakeholders.
• Provide education to HCPs regarding reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Work in conjunction with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
• Serve as the expert in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement for the local team.
• Lead discussions on compliant access and fulfillment strategies.
• Analyze data and account information to proactively identify and address access barriers.
• Tackle critical patient access and affordability challenges.
• Deliver field-based support, education, and creative problem-solving related to reimbursement and access.
• Establish trust-based relationships with customers in designated accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and business planning for accounts.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance practice and patient support by understanding hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Conduct business in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards while completing all required training.
• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Experience in reimbursement or managed care is a plus.
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with efficient follow-through.
• Familiarity with patient support HUB services.
• A valid US driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residency within the specified territory.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are advantageous.
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting reimbursement is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
