This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
β’ Act as the primary field leader for education, support, and problem resolution regarding patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
β’ Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers and their teams.
β’ Provide education to healthcare professionals on reimbursement protocols, claims submission, operational procedures, and payer coding requirements.
β’ Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and various internal J&J departments.
β’ Facilitate compliant discussions on access and fulfillment.
β’ Proactively tackle access obstacles by leveraging data and account-management expertise.
β’ Address critical access and affordability challenges for patients.
β’ Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and problem-solving.
β’ Foster trust-based relationships across assigned accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and business planning for accounts.
β’ Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
β’ Enhance practice and patient support through knowledge of hub and specialty distribution.
β’ Function as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer types.
β’ Complete necessary training and conduct business in accordance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
β’ Travel up to 75% of the time.
β’ Bachelor's degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office environment.
β’ Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
β’ Familiarity with reimbursement or relevant managed care experience, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ Possession of a valid US driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Permanent residence within the designated territory.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of medication access channels.
β’ Ability to analyze intricate quantitative and qualitative data.
β’ Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Preferred: Experience with neuroscience disease states.
β’ Preferred: Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding.
β’ Preferred: Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
β’ Preferred: Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting reimbursement.
