This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary field lead for education, support, and problem resolution concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers and their teams.
• Provide education to HCPs on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care professionals, and internal J&J departments.
• Function as an expert in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement for the local team.
• Lead discussions on compliant access and fulfillment practices.
• Utilize data and account management capabilities to overcome access challenges.
• Tackle critical issues related to patient access and affordability.
• Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and problem resolution.
• Establish trust-based relationships with customers in designated accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and business planning for accounts.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer types.
• Carry out business activities in line with ethical, legal, and compliance standards along with required training.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a provider office setting.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care roles.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residence within the specified territory.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding is preferred.
• Strong market access and business acumen is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives is preferred.
• Technical understanding of payer policies, including coding, coverage, and payment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Field-based work arrangement.
