This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary field-based representative for education, support, and resolution of issues concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of time working directly with healthcare providers and their teams.
• Educate healthcare professionals on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, processes, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
• Facilitate compliant discussions on access and fulfillment.
• Address barriers to access, significant access issues, and affordability challenges.
• Provide field-based reimbursement and access assistance, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with clients in designated accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and business planning for accounts.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage options, and coding requirements.
• Enhance practice and patient support through knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across various payer categories.
• Complete business activities in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office setting.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Background in reimbursement or relevant managed care settings.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and effective follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residence within the specified territory.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives impacting reimbursement is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Commitment to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Field-based work arrangement.
• Base salary range of $102,000.00–$177,100.00 annually.
