This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Act as the main field-based leader for education, support, and problem-solving with healthcare providers and their staff regarding patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers and staff to assess educational needs and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, operational processes, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and various internal J&J departments.
• Function as the local expert in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement matters.
• Lead discussions focused on compliant access and fulfillment.
• Employ data and account management expertise to tackle access barriers and address critical access and affordability challenges.
• Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with clients in assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance your understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and Commercial plans.
• Execute business activities in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards, as well as required training.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within the provider office environment.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Relevant experience in reimbursement or managed care.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to effectively navigate challenging access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities along with efficient follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residence within the designated territory.
• Experience with neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding is preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that impact reimbursement is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• This position requires travel up to 75% of the time.
