📋 Description

• Act as the primary field-based lead for education, assistance, and resolution of issues related to patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.

• Allocate up to 50% of working hours to on-site engagement with healthcare providers and their staff.

• Provide education to healthcare providers regarding reimbursement procedures, claims submission, and payer coding requirements.

• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, and field support teams as the local expert in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.

• Facilitate discussions regarding compliant access and fulfillment.

• Employ data and account management expertise to proactively tackle access barriers.

• Address urgent patient access and affordability issues with a sense of accountability.

• Partner with managed care colleagues to stay updated on current policies and potential changes.

• Offer field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.

• Develop trust-based relationships across assigned accounts.

• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.

• Keep informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.

• Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.

• Work collaboratively with internal J&J departments such as marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and Commercial plans.

• Conduct business in accordance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards and complete all required training.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration).

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office setting.

• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.

• Background in reimbursement or relevant managed care experience.

• Capability to forge relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.

• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and thorough follow-through.

• Experience with patient support HUB services.

• Valid US driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.

• Permanent residency within the designated territory.

• Extensive knowledge of medication access channels, including pharmacy and medical benefits, buy & bill, and assignment of benefits.

• Ability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data.

• Capacity to stay informed about product coverage, access knowledge, market conditions, and stakeholder practices.

• Ability to understand and adapt to the evolving healthcare ecosystem.

• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.

• Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives is preferred.

• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
