This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +1 more state.
β’ Act as the primary field-based leader for education, assistance, and resolution of issues related to patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
β’ Allocate up to 50% of time on-site with healthcare providers and their staff.
β’ Educate healthcare professionals (HCPs) on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
β’ Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
β’ Function as the local team's expert on access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.
β’ Facilitate compliant discussions on access and fulfillment.
β’ Utilize data and account management skills to tackle access barriers.
β’ Address significant patient access and affordability challenges.
β’ Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, along with education and creative problem-solving.
β’ Foster trust-based relationships with customers in designated accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
β’ Keep abreast of market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
β’ Acquire knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
β’ Provide subject matter expertise on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and commercial plans.
β’ Conduct business in accordance with ethical, legal, and compliance standards, completing necessary training.
β’ Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
β’ At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office setting.
β’ Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
β’ Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
β’ Capability to forge relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities and efficient follow-through.
β’ Experience engaging with patient support HUB services.
β’ Valid US driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Permanent residence within the designated territory.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
β’ Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
β’ Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
