This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Act as the primary field-based leader for education, assistance, and resolution of issues related to patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of time working directly on-site with healthcare providers and their teams.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals on reimbursement procedures, claims submissions, practices, and payer coding requirements.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal departments within J&J.
• Function as the local expert in access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.
• Facilitate discussions on compliant access and fulfillment.
• Leverage data and account management expertise to proactively tackle access challenges.
• Address significant access and affordability concerns for patients.
• Deliver field-based support regarding reimbursement and access, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Cultivate customer relationships across assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, route management, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Enhance understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Offer subject-matter expertise on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and commercial payer plans.
• Conduct business in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in healthcare or business/public administration).
• At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a provider office environment.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care settings.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residency in the specified territory.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Preferred: Experience in neuroscience disease states.
• Preferred: Advanced degree or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding.
• Preferred: Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that impact pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement.
• Preferred: Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Preferred: Commitment to learning about emerging technologies such as AI.
