This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Act as the main field-based leader for education, support, and problem-solving related to patient access for J&J Neuroscience therapies.
β’ Provide training to healthcare providers and their staff on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
β’ Collaborate with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and various internal J&J teams.
β’ Serve as the local team's expert on access, fulfillment, and reimbursement.
β’ Lead discussions on compliant access and fulfillment.
β’ Utilize data and account management skills to proactively identify and address access barriers.
β’ Tackle critical patient access and affordability challenges with a sense of urgency and accountability.
β’ Deliver field-based support in reimbursement and access, along with education and innovative problem-solving.
β’ Foster trust-based relationships with customers in designated accounts.
β’ Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
β’ Stay informed on market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
β’ Enhance knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and commercial payer plans.
β’ Conduct business in alignment with ethical, legal, and compliance standards while completing necessary training.
β’ A Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare or business/public administration.
β’ At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
β’ Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within the provider office environment.
β’ Proficient in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
β’ Background in reimbursement or relevant managed care, including revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of medication access channels.
β’ Capability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data.
β’ Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills to navigate challenging access situations.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with efficient follow-through.
β’ Experience with patient support HUB services.
β’ A valid US driverβs license and a driving record that meets company standards.
β’ Permanent residence in the specified territory.
β’ Willingness and capacity to travel up to 75% of the time.
β’ Experience in the neuroscience disease state is preferred.
β’ An MBA or MPH is preferred.
β’ An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
