This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.
• Act as the primary on-site leader for education, support, and resolution of issues concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of time working directly with healthcare providers and their teams to evaluate educational needs and foster collaboration among stakeholders.
• Provide education to healthcare professionals on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Work in partnership with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and various internal J&J departments.
• Facilitate discussions focused on compliant access and fulfillment.
• Leverage data and account management expertise to tackle access barriers and significant issues related to access and affordability.
• Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving strategies.
• Cultivate trust-based relationships with customers within assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage options, and coding requirements.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and commercial plans.
• Conduct business activities in alignment with ethical, legal, compliance, and training standards.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement within a provider office setting.
• Proficiency with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Background in reimbursement or managed care is preferred.
• Capability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to manage complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective follow-through.
• Experience collaborating with patient support HUB services.
• Possession of a valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residency within the designated territory.
• Experience in neuroscience disease states is preferred.
• An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are advantageous.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that impact reimbursement is preferred.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Eligibility for long-term incentive programs.
