This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as the primary field lead for education, assistance, and issue resolution concerning patient access to J&J Neuroscience therapies.
• Allocate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers and their office teams.
• Evaluate the educational needs of healthcare providers and promote collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide education to healthcare providers on reimbursement protocols, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding guidelines.
• Work in conjunction with sales representatives, key account managers, and field support teams.
• Facilitate compliant discussions on access and fulfillment.
• Proactively tackle access obstacles using data and account management expertise.
• Address critical issues related to patient access and affordability.
• Collaborate with managed care colleagues regarding existing and upcoming policies.
• Deliver field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships within assigned accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed on market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Gain knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Collaborate with internal J&J departments, including marketing, sales, medical science, SCG, IBG, HCC, and PECS.
• Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, Commercial, and other payer types.
• Complete business activities in line with ethical, legal, and compliance standards and required training.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a provider office setting.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefit design, coding, billing, prior authorizations, office operations, and appeals processes.
• Experience in reimbursement or relevant managed care.
• Ability to forge relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective follow-through.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• A valid US driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards.
• Permanent residency within the specified territory.
• In-depth knowledge of medication access channels.
• Capability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data.
• Familiarity with product coverage, access, marketplace conditions, and stakeholder practices.
• Adaptability to the evolving healthcare ecosystem.
• Preferred: MBA or MPH.
• Preferred: Experience in neuroscience disease states.
• Preferred: Advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding.
• Preferred: Knowledge of market access and payer approval, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives.
• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Demonstrated commitment to learning new technologies such as AI.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
