
Field Reimbursement Manager, Market Access – Mid-Atlantic Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Act as a subject matter expert in access and reimbursement, engaging directly with customers across the Pharmaceutical Diagnostic portfolio.
• Offer education, facilitate integration with support centers, and resolve patient-level issues.
• Design and present onboarding and in-service sessions, both in-person and virtually, for new and existing client accounts.
• Inform prescribers, office personnel, imagers, radiologists, and nuclear medicine specialists about payer coverage policies, reimbursement procedures, patient services, and benefit investigations.
• Address general and patient-specific access and reimbursement obstacles by utilizing both internal and external resources.
• Create access and reimbursement tools and guides that encompass product coverage, claims processing, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Maintain communication with Market Access Account Executives and Sales teams to share field intelligence and prioritize essential accounts.
• Participate in conferences to advocate for GE HealthCare Patient Support Services.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Patient Services.
• Cover the Mid-Atlantic region, which requires up to 40% travel.
• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in the US healthcare medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a US Field Reimbursement Manager.
• Proficient understanding of medical benefit reimbursement and payment mechanisms, including medical coding, claims, and billing processes.
• Extensive knowledge of Government (Medicare/Medicaid, etc.) and Commercial coverage/reimbursement dynamics.
• Familiarity with reimbursement processes, regulations, and account-based planning in provider offices and hospital outpatient departments.
• Knowledge of the radiology authorization process, including HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 codes and their related regulations.
• Experience in working with a HUB or reimbursement call center.
• Capability to foster close collaboration with strategic partners and colleagues, leading joint initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a knack for thinking on your feet and proposing alternatives and solutions.
• A strong customer-oriented approach with the ability to cultivate relationships, identify and address access challenges, and manage complex projects.
• Competence to operate independently and effectively as a leader within a matrix environment.
• Highly organized and strategic thinker with exceptional verbal and written presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to engage with customers and field sales teams.
• Proven proficiency with CRM systems, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Must reside within the Mid-Atlantic Region territory.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Certified Professional Coding Certification is preferred.
• Desired experience in radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics.
• Experience with product launches is preferred.
