This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Conduct office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office personnel to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address questions related to reimbursement and coverage.
• Provide both in-person and virtual education regarding payer landscapes, coverage updates, formulary changes, payer policies, and patient support.
• Distribute materials related to reimbursement and coverage that have been approved by Pfizer.
• Educate HCPs and office staff about Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, portals, and brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer's patient access and support programs to understand the payer requirements for individual patients.
• Address prescription status inquiries for patients participating in Pfizer's access and support programs.
• Compliantly utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage issues impacting Pfizer products in the assigned regions.
• Provide interpretative information and local market insights to Pfizer leadership.
• Compliantly communicate with stakeholders to influence ideas, actions, or positions without exercising direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources that address barriers to patient access.
• Build trust through consistent follow-up and a thorough understanding of the access journey.
• Conduct live interactions with customers, which will require approximately 50% travel.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is required.
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in strategic planning and successful implementation of plans.
• Leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across internal boundaries and work with multiple stakeholders.
• Capability to operate in a highly regulated environment while adhering to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training in and experience with responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and mentor others, and guide colleagues.
• Must reside within the designated territory boundaries.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available at this time or in the future.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is advantageous but not required.
