This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Perform office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Deliver both in-person and virtual training on local and regional payer landscapes, updates on coverage and formularies, payer policies, and patient support initiatives.
• Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement, including Patient Assistance Programs and billing and coding reference guides.
• Inform HCPs and office personnel about Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, Hub HCP portals, and financial assistance brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer's patient access and support programs to comprehend payer requirements for individual patients.
• Respond to inquiries regarding prescription statuses for patients enrolled in Pfizer's patient access and support programs.
• Compliantly utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage concerns impacting Pfizer products in designated regions.
• Ensure appropriate patient access to prescribed Pfizer products.
• Provide interpretive information and local market insights to Pfizer leadership regarding reimbursement challenges.
• Communicate compliantly with stakeholders to influence ideas, actions, or positions without direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources that address patient access challenges.
• Build trust through consistent follow-up and knowledge of the access journey.
• Conduct live customer interactions, involving approximately 50% travel.
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Experience in reimbursement and access is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is mandatory.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in strategic planning and successful implementation of plans.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate across internal boundaries with multiple stakeholders.
• Capability to work in a highly regulated environment while adhering to strict compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrated collaboration with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to influence and work collaboratively with peers, mentor and develop others, and oversee and guide colleagues.
• Must reside within the designated territory boundaries.
• Must have authorization to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus but not required.
• Participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of base salary.
