This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Conduct office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address inquiries regarding reimbursement and coverage.
• Deliver both in-person and virtual education on payer environments, coverage and formulary updates, payer policies, and patient support.
• Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement, including Patient Assistance Programs and billing and coding resources.
• Inform HCPs and their staff about Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, portals, and informational brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer patient access and support programs to comprehend individual patient payer requirements.
• Manage prescription-status inquiries for patients enrolled in Pfizer access and support initiatives.
• Compliantly utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system.
• Act as the subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters impacting Pfizer products within designated regions.
• Ensure appropriate patient access to prescribed Pfizer products.
• Provide internal Pfizer leadership with interpretive insights and local market data regarding reimbursement challenges.
• Communicate compliantly with stakeholders to influence ideas, actions, or positions without direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources aimed at overcoming patient access obstacles.
• Foster trust through follow-up and an understanding of the access journey.
• Allocate approximately 50% of time to direct customer interactions.
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in strategic planning and successful plan execution.
• Proven leadership and ability to work across internal boundaries.
• Capacity to collaborate with multiple relevant stakeholders to achieve distinct objectives.
• Ability to operate in a highly regulated environment while adhering to strict compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and mentor others, and provide guidance on colleagues’ work.
• Must reside within the specified territory boundaries.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus but not required.
• Participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary.
