This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.
• Conduct visits to healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address inquiries related to reimbursement and coverage.
• Offer both in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, updates on coverage and formularies, payer policies, and patient support.
• Distribute materials on coverage and reimbursement that are approved by Pfizer.
• Inform HCPs and office personnel about Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, portals, and informational brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer's patient access and support programs to comprehend payer requirements for individual patients.
• Respond to prescription-status inquiries from patients enrolled in Pfizer access and support initiatives.
• Compliantly utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters related to Pfizer products in assigned territories.
• Provide interpretative information and insights regarding local markets to Pfizer leadership.
• Engage with stakeholders in a compliant manner to influence ideas, actions, or positions without direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources that address barriers to patient access.
• Establish trust through follow-up and a thorough understanding of the access journey.
• Conduct approximately 50% of customer interactions live, based on geographical considerations and customer needs.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is mandatory.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, along with strategic planning and successful execution of plans.
• Proven leadership ability and success in working across internal boundaries while collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Capability to operate in a highly regulated environment and adhere to stringent company compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrated collaboration with a diverse array of customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor and develop others, and guide colleagues effectively.
• Must reside within territory boundaries.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. with any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus, but not required.
• Travel requirement: 50% for live customer interactions.
