This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Conduct office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office personnel to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address inquiries regarding reimbursement and coverage.
• Provide both in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, coverage updates, formulary changes, payer policies, and patient support resources.
• Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement, which include Patient Assistance Programs and billing and coding guides.
• Educate HCPs and office staff about Hub financial assistance offerings, enrollment procedures, HCP portals, and informational brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer patient access and support programs to comprehend individual patient payer requirements.
• Respond to prescription-status inquiries for patients participating in Pfizer support programs.
• Utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system in a compliant manner.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters affecting Pfizer products within assigned regions.
• Provide interpretive insights and local market information to Pfizer leadership.
• Communicate in compliance with regulations to influence ideas, actions, or positions without direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources that address barriers to patient access.
• Build trust through follow-up and a thorough understanding of the access journey.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time for live customer interactions, based on geographical considerations and customer requirements.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is required.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in strategic planning and successful execution of plans.
• Proven leadership skills and the capability to work across internal boundaries and engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to function in a highly regulated environment while adhering to stringent company compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Documented history of collaboration with a diverse range of customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Capability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor and develop others, and oversee and guide colleagues' work.
• Must reside within designated territory boundaries.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus but not required.
• Participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary.
