This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Conduct office visits with healthcare providers (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address inquiries regarding reimbursement and coverage.
• Offer both in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, coverage and formulary updates, payer policies, and patient support services.
• Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement, including information on patient assistance programs and billing/coding guides.
• Inform HCPs and office staff about Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, portals, and brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer patient access and support programs (HUB) to comprehend payer requirements for individual patients.
• Resolve prescription-status inquiries for patients enrolled in Pfizer access and support initiatives.
• Utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system in compliance with regulations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters concerning Pfizer products in designated regions.
• Provide interpretive insights and local market intelligence to Pfizer leadership regarding reimbursement challenges.
• Engage compliantly with a diverse range of stakeholders and influence decision-making without direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources that address barriers to patient access.
• Establish trust through consistent follow-up and thorough knowledge of the access journey.
• Conduct live customer interactions, dedicating approximately 50% of working hours to these activities.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, usually within pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is required.
• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.
• Strong comprehension of specialty drug reimbursement, government payment systems, provider/carrier networks, co-pay assistance programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer business units/brands.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in strategic planning and executing successful plans.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across internal boundaries with multiple stakeholders.
• Capacity to operate in a highly regulated environment, adhering to stringent company compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Demonstrated collaboration with a wide range of customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor and coach others, and oversee and guide the work of colleagues.
• Must reside within designated territory boundaries.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus but not required.
