This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Conduct office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office personnel to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address inquiries related to reimbursement and coverage.
• Offer both in-person and virtual education regarding payer environments, coverage and formulary updates, payer policies, and patient support.
• Distribute materials approved by Pfizer concerning coverage and reimbursement.
• Inform HCPs and office staff about Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, portals, and brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer's patient access and support programs to comprehend payer requirements for individual patients.
• Respond to inquiries about prescription status for patients enrolled in Pfizer's access and support programs.
• Use Pfizer’s designated case notes system in full compliance.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters impacting Pfizer products.
• Provide interpretative insights and local market data to Pfizer leadership.
• Comply with communication standards when engaging with stakeholders to influence ideas, actions, or positions.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources aimed at overcoming patient access barriers.
• Foster trust through consistent follow-up and an understanding of the access journey.
• Exhibit responsible business communication in both written and verbal interactions.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time for face-to-face customer engagements.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically within pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is mandatory.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in strategic planning and successful plan execution.
• Leadership experience with the capability to work across internal boundaries and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in a highly regulated environment while adhering to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures.
• Proven experience in collaborating with a diverse range of customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and spoken.
• A valid U.S. driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Capacity to influence and collaborate with peers, mentor and guide others, and oversee colleagues.
• Must reside within designated territory boundaries.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus, but not required.
• Participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of base salary.
