This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Conduct office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address questions regarding reimbursement and coverage.
• Provide both in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, updates on coverage and formularies, payer policies, and patient support.
• Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement, including resources on Patient Assistance Programs and billing and coding guidelines.
• Educate HCPs and office staff on Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, portals, and brochures.
• Coordinate with Pfizer's patient access and support programs to grasp payer requirements for individual patients.
• Respond to prescription status inquiries for patients enrolled in Pfizer's access and support initiatives.
• Utilize Pfizer’s designated case-notes system in a compliant manner.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters impacting Pfizer products within assigned regions.
• Provide internal Pfizer leadership with comprehensive information and insights regarding local market reimbursement issues.
• Communicate in compliance with diverse stakeholders to positively influence ideas, actions, or positions without exercising direct authority.
• Connect customer insights to offerings and resources that address barriers to patient access.
• Build trust through diligent follow-up and thorough knowledge of the access journey.
• Allocate approximately 50% of time to live customer interactions.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.
• Strong comprehension of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and the policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is essential.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in strategic planning and successful implementation of plans.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across internal boundaries with multiple stakeholders.
• Capability to operate within a highly regulated environment and adhere to stringent company compliance guidelines and procedures.
• A demonstrated history of collaborating with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and provide guidance to colleagues.
• Must reside within the designated territory boundaries.
• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus but not required.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available currently or in the future.
• Bonus target of 17.5% of base salary through Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan.
