This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Conduct visits to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their office personnel to facilitate appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.
• Address inquiries regarding reimbursement and coverage.
• Offer both in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, coverage updates, formulary changes, payer policies, and patient support options.
• Distribute materials related to coverage and reimbursement that are approved by Pfizer.
• Inform HCPs and office staff about Hub financial assistance programs, enrollment processes, portals, and informational brochures.
• Collaborate with Pfizer's patient access and support programs to comprehend payer requirements for individual patients.
• Respond to prescription-status inquiries for patients participating in Pfizer support programs.
• Compliantly utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system.
• Act as a subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage matters affecting Pfizer products.
• Provide interpretative insights and local market information to Pfizer leadership.
• Communicate in a compliant manner with stakeholders to influence ideas, actions, and positions.
• Connect customer insights with resources aimed at overcoming patient access challenges.
• Build trust through consistent follow-up and a comprehensive understanding of the access journey.
• Engage in live customer interactions, which will require approximately 50% travel.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, generally within pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.
• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.
• A strong grasp of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is mandatory.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in strategic planning and successful execution of plans.
• Leadership experience with a proven record of working across internal boundaries.
• Capability to collaborate with multiple relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment and comply with rigorous company guidelines and procedures.
• A proven history of collaboration with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and verbal.
• A valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Ability to persuade and collaborate with colleagues, develop and coach others, and guide team members.
• Must reside within the specified territory boundaries.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is currently not available, nor will it be in the future.
