
Field Reimbursement Manager – Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Act as the primary field representative for education, support, and issue resolution concerning patient access to J&J Immunology therapies.
• Dedicate up to 50% of your time on-site with healthcare providers to evaluate their educational needs.
• Inform healthcare providers about product coverage, prior authorizations, appeals, reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and payer coding requirements.
• Work in collaboration with sales representatives, key account managers, managed care colleagues, and internal J&J departments.
• Tackle critical issues related to patient access and affordability.
• Offer field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and innovative problem-solving.
• Establish trust-based relationships with customers in designated Immunology accounts.
• Oversee territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Stay informed about market dynamics, coverage, and coding requirements.
• Gain insights into hub and specialty distribution channels.
• Act as a subject matter expert on access and affordability solutions across Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care, and Commercial plans.
• Complete business operations in line with ethical, legal, compliance, and training standards.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in healthcare or business/public administration.
• At least 5 years of pertinent professional experience.
• Experience in Account Management and/or Reimbursement in a hospital and/or provider office environment.
• Proficiency in pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, including coding and billing.
• Background in reimbursement or relevant managed care experience, covering revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals processes.
• Capability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence within a matrix organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills to navigate complex access scenarios.
• Experience with patient support HUB services.
• Valid US driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Permanent residence within the specified territory.
• Experience with immunology disease states is preferred.
• An advanced degree and/or relevant certifications in prior authorization and/or billing and coding are preferred.
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer initiatives that impact pharmaceutical and biotechnology reimbursement.
• Proficiency in Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel is preferred.
• Commitment to learning about emerging technologies such as AI.
