Field Reimbursement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct office visits with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and their staff to facilitate appropriate access to Pfizer products for patients.

• Address questions regarding reimbursement and coverage.

• Offer both in-person and virtual education on payer landscapes, coverage updates, formulary changes, payer policies, and patient support resources.

• Distribute Pfizer-approved materials related to coverage and reimbursement, including resources on Patient Assistance Programs and billing and coding reference guides.

• Inform HCPs and office staff about Hub financial assistance options, enrollment processes, Hub HCP portals, and related informational brochures.

• Collaborate with Pfizer patient access and support programs to comprehend the specific payer requirements for individual patients.

• Respond to prescription status inquiries for patients enrolled in Pfizer's patient access and support programs.

• Compliantly utilize Pfizer’s designated case notes system.

• Act as the subject matter expert on reimbursement and coverage challenges affecting Pfizer products within assigned regions.

• Facilitate timely access for patients to prescribed Pfizer products.

• Provide internal Pfizer leadership with interpretative information and insights into local market reimbursement issues.

• Compliantly communicate with stakeholders to influence ideas, actions, or positions without having direct authority.

• Connect customer insights with offerings and resources that address barriers to patient access.

• Build trust through diligent follow-up and in-depth knowledge of the access journey.

• Maintain responsible business communication in both written and verbal formats.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, typically in pharmaceutical sales and/or coding and reimbursement.

• Experience in Reimbursement and Access is advantageous.

• Strong grasp of Specialty Drug Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and policy dynamics across Pfizer Business Units/Brands.

• A B.S. or B.A. degree is mandatory.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Experience in strategic planning and successful execution of plans.

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across internal boundaries with various stakeholders.

• Capability to work in a highly regulated environment while adhering to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures.

• A demonstrated record of successful collaboration with diverse customers, clients, and stakeholders.

• Training and experience in responsible business communication, both written and spoken.

• A valid U.S. driver's license with a driving record that meets company standards.

• A breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including influencing and collaborating with peers, developing and coaching others, and guiding colleagues.

• Must reside within the designated territory boundaries.

• Must have authorization to be employed in the U.S. by any employer.

• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.

• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

• Additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred but not mandatory.

• Knowledge or certification in coding and billing is a plus but not required.

• Travel requirement of approximately 50% for live customer interactions.
